Sea Life Helsinki Oy marine park wanted to remodel its web site and the management of the site's content through the adoption of a new system. Sea Life Helsinki undertook this project to improve the exterior appearance of the web site and their business image. Sea Life Helsinki also wanted to make updating of the content as easy as possible. Now, any department of the marine park can update the site, whenever necessary. Of course, all users had to agree on certain common rules.

Maximus Interactive Oy designed the site's exterior appearance and Naviatech Solutions Oy took care of its technical implementation and provided the publication system. On the whole, the project was implemented within the anticipated budget and lead time. The new site also offers good tools for sending information, such as newsletters. There have been more visitors to the site, which, in itself, indicates that the site is of interest to the public. The site has been integrated with a monitoring system that reports the number of visitors weekly. At present, there are 18,000 to 20,000 visitors a month. Of these, a little more than half are unique visitors.

"The new publication system saves us a lot of work. We don't need to struggle in vain to figure out how to do things because the system offers us versatile alternatives. The investment was absolutely worth it because we've really saved a lot of time. In the near future, we intend to develop a closed extranet site for our employees," said Marketing Director, Vilma Gustafsson.
